Butch wrote on the back of this painting with a pencil inscription: The puppet is fixin to cut loose and show the waggle tongues just what he can't do. I saw a catbird and he was singing just what he wanted to sing. I saw a coachwhip snake down in the pasture, they will wrap around you and whip you with there tail till your dead then stick there tail up your nose to see if you are still breathing.
