Join us in person or online for Jeanine Taylor Folk Art's first show of the new year, Gratitude - New Art by Theresa Disney. Born out of a period of intense creativity, Theresa’s latest collection is a testament to her fearless originality and indomitable spirit. Due to the pandemic, the artist will not be present at the opening reception. The show will be available to view online and in person at 6pm on 1/23.Disney revels in her signature irreverent wit to create a world where no one is taken too seriously, and beauty abounds. Portraits (human and otherwise) grace the gallery walls alongside brilliant florals and snapshots of romanticized daily life.

As a self-proclaimed “visual storyteller,” Disney gives voice to her imagination through any medium she can get her hands on. Being an artist is all she’s ever known. Rising early and working until exhaustion sets in, she goes to bed thankful and wakes up grateful to be able to create.

“We’re so happy to host Theresa Disney as our artist in residence for January. Coming from Saint Louis, this makes Theresa an official ‘snowbird’” says Jeanine Taylor.

Through her spirited art, Theresa Disney has carved out a very special place in this world for herself. Join us in celebrating beauty in color, form, and a fresh take on life’s offerings this January.
