Adult Ceramic Workshop

 Julie Latayan works from her imagination. She creates figures utilizing pinch pots, slabs and coil. This class will include one on one and group instruction with figure building and texture demonstrations. Most importantly, Julie’s classes are a fun and creatively nurturing refuge! It’s a class for any art experience level.

Sculptures will be fired and available for pickup a week later. We will notify.

Students will be provided with beverages but must bring their own lunch or dine out at one of the restaurants in walking distance from the gallery.

About the teacher: A self-taught artist, Julie began her career as a painter and muralist. Her love of art and wish to share her talents led her to teach high school art for five years, and later open her own gallery/studio. When Julie is not exhibiting at art fairs or filling gallery orders, she now teaches sculpting workshops for adults and children. She is an accomplished carpenter, handyman, wife, and mom.

Safety precautions: We requires each student to wear a mask. Students will be seated at their own six foot table, located at a safe distance away from others.
