Kids Summer Camp - Painting Class
Time & Location
About the Event
Julie Latayan delves into color, form and various acrylic painting techniques to teach students how to express themselves in paint. Students will create self portraits and animal portraits on unlikely material (tar paper and plywood). Students will come away with multiple finished pieces ready to don the halls of their own home gallery.
Students will be provided with beverages but must bring their own snack.
About the teacher: A self-taught artist, Julie began her career as a painter and muralist. Her love of art and wish to share her talents led her to teach high school art for five years, and later open her own gallery/studio. When Julie is not exhibiting at art fairs or filling gallery orders, she now teaches sculpting workshops for adults and children. She is an accomplished carpenter, handyman, wife, and mom.
Safety precautions: We requires each student to wear a mask. Students will be seated at their own six foot table, located at a safe distance away from others.
