March Hare Workshop with Melissa Menzer

A March wind rolls into Jeanine Taylor Folk Art bringing a new workshop from Melissa Menzer. The March Hare antique assemblage workshop on Saturday, March 12th will invite participants to let loose and utilize Melissa’s abundant trove of vintage trinkets to create a mad March Hare with a hand sculpted face. The workshop will result in a completed heirloom quality assemblage, symbolic of springtime.

Classes are limited toten people per session ensuring each student will have their own six foot work table. Melissa will provide one on one and group instruction throughout the day. Students will finish the class with a completed project and the knowledge to continue creating at home.

Melissa’s antique assemblages rose to acclaim several years ago at the Mennello Museum of American Art in Orlando. She is the daughter of antique dealers from the Washington DC area and has worked in the business throughout her life, owning several booths in antique malls throughout central Florida.
