About the Event
Jeanine Taylor Folk Art is pleased to welcome Melissa Menzer back to Historic Downtown Sanford for a Bejeweled Bird Workshop! Each participant will get the chance to fashion a bird of their own design using antique trinkets from Melissa’s personal collection and bakeable clay.
Classes are limited to six people per session ensuring each student will have their own six foot work table. Melissa will provide one on one and group instruction throughout the day. Students will finish the class with a completed project and the knowledge to continue creating at home.
Melissa’s antique assemblages rose to acclaim several years ago at the Mennello Museum of American Art in Orlando. She is the daughter of antique dealers from the Washington DC area and has worked in the business throughout her life, owning several booths in antique malls throughout central Florida.
- Masks must be worn properly at all times throughout the class. (including participants who have been fully vaccinated)
- Social distancing guidelines must be observed.
