About Jerry Coker:
Jerry Coker was born in Arkansas but has spent most of his life in Florida. Best know for his tin masks, he also creates impressionistic paintings on any kind of material he finds. The masks are often modeled after people he remembers from his rural childhood.
After a serious heart attack, he took an extended time off and made no art. He made a full recovery and has returned to creating and selling his art.
The Arkansas Art Center in Little Rock put on a one man show for Coker entitled "Face Value" which piqued interest in his work nationwide. Jerry has since been featured in numerous exhibitions and has won awards at the Kentuck Festival of the Arts. Coker's work is also in several important collections including that of Microsoft.
