Medium: Paint on wood, framed
About Jennifer Lanne:
Jennifer’s paintings are rich in color and story, exuding a timeless appeal. She is largely self-taught and works in acrylic accented with oil glazes.
Jennifer paints what she knows…floral, fauna and farm…with brave strokes and drenched colors that tell of fond memories and vistas filled with possibilities.
Tree-lined paths beckon a walk, urns of flowers beg a whiff, and plates of ripe fruit a taste. Her work is strong and bright, classic with a freshness of her own. Botanicals and landscapes are deliciously lush and thoughtful, while barnyard creatures poised and elegantly simple.
Deep reds, peridot greens, cerulean blue, goldenrod and feisty orange adorn her canvases.
Her paintings are layered with depth, dense in hues and compact with stories of treasured objects.
Jennifer lives and works in her 1780’s farm in Ballston Spa, New York. Her art has been featured in “Country Living”, "Where Women Create" and “Romantic Homes” magazines.
