Road Trips and Rare Finds Opening Reception

Join Jeanine Taylor Folk Art as we hit the open road and bring back a new summer show, Road Trips & Rare Finds! Coupling familiar folk art favorites with roadside rarities, Jeanine Taylor will retrieve a collection of art and oddities that speak to the essence of a Deep South adventure.

The show will feature work form John “Cornbread” Anderson, Alyne Harris, Wayne Hewell, Bailey Jack, and Sarah Rakes. From the coastal waters of Apalachicola to the misty Georgia mountains, each artist draws from a wealth of inspiration including their own backyards.  

It wouldn’t be a road trip if there weren’t a few detours! In addition to art, expect a selection of rare finds from the Foxfire Museum, the Plains Georgia Trading Post, and a few more surprise stops along the way.
