Mama’s Cornbread Dressing
-one medium onion
-four stalks of celery
-3 boxes of jiffy cornbread
-chicken broth
-salt
-pepper
-sage
Chop celery and onion then sautee in butter. Bake three boxes of Jiffy cornbread, add the celery and onions plus enough chicken broth to moisten. Season with salt, pepper, and sage. Spoon the mixture into a buttered dish and let stand for 30 minutes. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes.
