Jeanine Taylor Folk Art welcomes Theresa Disney for the gallery’s inaugural show of 2024 – Vitality. Disney will travel from her home in St. Louis to the unveil the show in person on Saturday, January 27th from 6-8pm. For one night only, the artist will be here in Sanford, Florida to share her inspiration and reconnect with collectors after a two-year absence.
As the name suggests, Vitality is breadth of work enriched with colors that are luminous, magical, and vivacious. The artist’s latest collection focuses on art as a means to heal and strengthen.
For those unable to attend the opening reception in person, all artwork will be available for purchase online at 7:30pm on the evening of January 27th. Mark your calendars and set your alarms!
Cecel Allee Returns
Cecel Allee returns to Jeanine Taylor Folk Art on Saturday, April 6th for another wildly popular floral painting workshop!
Similar to classes taught years ago at her home on Lemonade Farm in north Georgia, Cecel will share guidance in design, color, and her signature layering technique featuring a power sander. Participants will walk away with a complete 16x16 floral acrylic painting on wood.
Besides her art supplies, Cecel will bring a trove of new paintings. Stop by to meet the artist and see what she's been working on.
